The Pills
A simple raindrop,
running down my face.
Now I realize,
I hate this place.
The world is damp, cold, and dead.
Reflects a perfect image of whats in my head.
It’s been a progression,
but also a regression,
since I took the pills.
They make me human,
they make me live,
And given me free will.
But to take a pill everyday,
seems more like a prison.
Is this really me,
or am I a different person?
So I get off them,
and turn into this nervous wreck.
I feel that I am not good enough,
for the people of the world.
My mind tries to convince me,
that I am better off.
But you, my voice of reason.
Helps me stay on.

Mind As A Weapon
You can own the world,
if we address your obsession.
If we move around the world,
we can get a feel for regression.
You’re such a little girl,
use your mind as a tool or weapon.
You can own the world,
if we address your obsession.
Well, well.
Here we are again.
Hearing the words of the poets.
Using their words to make steam.
It’s a cold harsh world,
but I want to live in it.
It a cold harsh world,
but I believe in it.
We all turn to dust,
then we come back again.
Use your mind as a weapon,
Yes that’s what I said.
It’s a cold harsh world,
it’s the way that we made it.
The world will be on fire,
if we believe in it.
You can own the world,
if we address your obsession.
If we move around the world,
we can get a feel for regression.
You’re such a little girl,
use your mind as a tool or weapon.
You can own the world,
if we address your obsession.
Here’s another verse,
it’s not well rehearsed.
Let the poets cry themselves to sleep.
Let their words ring through the world.
I need to believe it.
I know I believe in it.
Let the poets run the world,
let the world believe it.
The medium of your obsession,
is the reason for the regression.
Let the women rule the world,
instead of the men who destroy it.
It’s a cold harsh world.
Yes that’s what I said.
Use your mind as a weapon,
let it rise up again.

Got A Secret
I can never tell,
which way to go.
Is heaven worth it?
Or go to hell.
Somethings not right,
inside my mind.
Just some misappropriation,
to get through the night.
Just tell me,
how to make things right.
Just tell me how to live.
Just tell me,
how to stop this fight,
or I won’t see the daylight again.
I’m losing control,
I can’t keep still in these spaces.
Everything around me,
I’m surrounded by faces.
I really can’t breathe.
Just need some time.
I don't want to make a mistake,
my heart is on the line.
Just tell me,
how to control this life.
Just tell me how to swim.
Just tell me,
when to come back home.
Just tell me how to win.
I know you got a secret,
keep the secret.
I might never know.
I know you got a secret,
without the secret.
This place might be a home.

The Cycle
You will find the,
struggle of razors.
All the cuts,
lining up in a,
straight line.
He keeps his distance,
to keep his mind clear.
She keeps her distance,
when they are near.
The light consumes the way.
The bright passage of the day.
We sacrifice our loved one.
Maybe they will live it better.
The words turn to silence
The silence consumes your mind.
Your mind chooses the easy way out.
The way out is self inflicted.
I’d by lying if I thought I knew why.
I’ve been.
Laying down,
on this cold ground.
Seems we’re back,
at the start of the cycle.
Maybe we can learn better,
with our new arrival.
This is no place to raise a child,
the mother and father are in denial.
This is last time I swear,
I swear I have seen it,
better over there.
Over there they love to listen.
But listen to the better thoughts,
of the forgiven.
The words turn to silence
The silence consumes your mind.
Your mind chooses the easy way out.
The way out is self inflicted.
I’d by lying if I thought I knew why.
I’ve been.
Laying down,
on this cold ground.
I’d by lying if I told you why,
It strikes the chords,
then I, need some more.
I’m hoping for the light to come.
Come over me and show me the sun.
The sun will burn all my imperfection.
My imperfections are what made me.
I’d by lying if I thought I knew why.
I’ve been.
Laying down,
on this cold ground.
I’d by lying if I told you why,
It strikes the chords,
then I, need some more.
Till the fire inside me dies.
I will, participate,
for the darker days.
You ask me how have I been?
Well it’s been rough but,
I found a new love.

To Live The Land
I was named after a renegade,
and the fathers before me.
On a cold November day,
in my family’s city.
Surrounded by so much potential,
it’s been four years coming.
I’ll grow old enough,
to keep the world running.
My father is soft spoken,
but a lunatic visionary.
Never raised his voice,
even when he was scared.
He doesn’t want to grow old,
but he will with me.
He taught me to be calm,
and enjoy my family.
My mother is hardheaded,
even when the times get worse.
Half a blessing, and half a curse.
She has so many goals,
and even made goals for me.
They were needed,
to keep us happy.
She taught me to feel,
even when life is bad.
She taught me to love,
my soft spoken dad.
I don’t know,
what I would do,
without her.
I don’t know,
what I would do,
without him.
Together they made me,
who I am.
Together as one,
to live the land.

Tracks Are Followed

Tracks are followed,
into the abyss.
Seen you here ,
from time to time,
your something,
I can’t miss.
I think some people,
are so shallow,
even when you,
turn around.
I told you to leave this place,
to leave this hallowed ground.
You’re something that,
I can’t let go.
You’re something that,
I can’t find.
Although I do know,
you pace the grounds,
you cannot be mine.
Tracks are followed,
into the abyss.
Seen you here ,
from time to time,
your something,
I can’t miss.
I told you I was sorry,
but it’s something,
you can’t stand.
You banished yourself,
from this place,
and forsook the land.
You're something that,
I can’t quite understand.
You’re something I,
can’t let go.
You’re something that,
needs to change this place,
even if you don’t show.
You’re something that,
looks so pretty,
even with all your scars.
Your something that,
I can’t forget,
in any way but now.
